I think that we can find the answer if we look to absurdist philosopher Albert Camus. "Even mother will show you another way" when Guts' biological mother died when he was born and his adoptive mother died when he was a young child. "Nothing will be wrong" when it's a crapsack world where everything goes wrong constantly "It's up to you" when in fact everything is governed by causality and people have no choice even over their own will.
The positive tone and message of the song seems to stand in stark contrast to the grim nature of Berserk, and if you listen to the lyrics there are some super ironic lines (which I've seen other users point out): And I'm definitely not the first to notice that this song seems incredibly out of place for this anime.
